This addendum covers website-specific privacy information for the Company’s websites, including kalori.jp and my.kalori.jp, in addition to the common Policy.
Article W1 (Cookies and Browser Storage)
The Website uses cookies and browser storage to maintain sign-in state, save settings or in-progress inputs, and analyze usage.
- Information required to maintain sign-in state
- Language, display, in-progress input, and similar settings or temporary information
- Information used to understand page views and interactions
You can clear or disable cookies and similar storage in your browser settings, although doing so may affect some functions, such as maintaining sign-in state.
Article W2 (Usage Analytics and Access Records)
The Website may collect and analyze pages viewed, actions, referring pages, browser and device information, IP addresses, and access times to improve quality, maintain security, and investigate technical issues. Usage after sign-in may be associated with your account.
my.kalori.jp uses Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, to analyze usage. Information such as page URLs and titles, access times, referring pages, browser, device, operating-system, language and screen information, cookie or similar identifiers, and IP addresses is sent to Google. It is used by the Company to understand usage and improve the Service, and by Google to provide, maintain, and protect its analytics service. The Company does not send Kalori account identifiers, meal, weight or health information, or user-entered content as Google Analytics event fields.
For details about Google’s handling of information, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy. You may disable cookies in your browser or use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Disabling analytics does not prevent use of the Service’s meal-logging features.
Article W3 (Advertising)
The Website currently does not use third-party advertising services. If this changes, we will update this addendum and provide choices where required.
Article W4 (External Link Measurement)
When you use a link from the Website to an external site, such as a store's official website, we may record use of that link to improve the Service and prevent misuse. The terms and privacy policy of the destination apply to its handling of information.
Article W5 (Web Authentication)
When you sign in on the Web using an external authentication service, authentication information needed to maintain your session is stored in the browser. It is invalidated or removed when you sign out.
